great views but limited breakfast options
The room came with a magnificent mountain view that was breathtaking. I particularly enjoyed the sounds of nature surrounding the retreat, as it created a serene atmosphere. Mike prepared a delightful breakfast, featuring fresh, local ingredients that showcased Vermont's delicious offerings.
I would have appreciated a wider selection of breakfast tea options.

Breakfast made by Mike hit the spot. A cozy, inviting dining area where we shared our meal made the experience even better. The room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the views. waking up to the beautiful scenery surrounding the property was a highlight. Mike's knowledge of local activities was impressive, and his recommendations for hiking trails near the Appalachian Trail added great value to our trip. However, the shared bathroom setup was a drawback. I prefer having my own restroom. The narrow and steep stairs could pose challenges, especially for those with heavier luggage or mobility issues. The lack of air conditioning may also be a concern during warmer months, as the fan provided wasn't enough on hotter nights.

what a quaint place, but sharing a bathroom was definetly a nuisance, for starters. also, i absolutely expected a special welcome gift as a solo guest, but instead ended up with nothing. the breakfast choices were lacking as well, considering how much the previous guests raved. almost gave a good review but just couldn’t, really.

We enjoyed our family stay with beautiful mountain views and ample space for our little kid to roam. Activities like fishing and hiking were accessible and kept everyone engaged. The hosts served delicious breakfasts, making mornings a treat for the whole family.
In my wife’s opinion, having more family-friendly activities would enhance the experience.
